How to Use Mapleads

Mapleads helps you find local businesses and export those results to Excel. Here's a quick guide to get started:

1. Enter a Precise Search

Type in what you're looking for and where. Be as specific as possible to get the best results. For example:

  • "Barber Shop, Vaughan Ontario"
  • "Electricians, Mississauga ON"
  • "Landscaping companies, Brampton"

Avoid vague searches like just "Barber Shop" — narrow it down by city or neighborhood.

2. Choose the Number of Results

Use the "Pages (1-3)" input to decide how many results you want:

  • 1 page = up to 20 results
  • 2 pages = up to 40 results
  • 3 pages = up 60 results

3. Click “Search Businesses”

Mapleads will find matching businesses and show them as pins on the map. Results will also appear in a list under the search form.

Clicking a business in the list will highlight its pin on the map. Or click a pin directly to view business details.

4. Export to Excel

Once your results are loaded, click "Export to .xlsx" to download them in Excel format. This includes name, address, phone number, website, and Google Maps link.

5. Token Usage

Each business shown uses 1 token. So a 3-page search with 60 results will cost 60 tokens.

When tokens run out, you’ll see a button to request more.
